Andy M Stewart is a master of conveying the emotion of a song. All of his stuff is great and this album is no exception. What makes this album really interesting is the very varied collection of songs from the modern and very beautiful original Man in the Moon written by Stewart's wife to the really ancient traditional songs, including one written by James V, this is a great album. Its a bit different to Stewart's Silly Wizard stuff and to the albums he has done with Phil Cunniningham but there is nothing wrong with different.
