Some of the music on this set is a bit hysterical (including a tenor battle by Arnett Cobb and Herbie Fields) and of course "Flying Home. Dizzy Gillespie makes a memorable guest appearance on "Red Cross" and Dinah Washington sings a fine version of her first hit, "Evil Gal Blues.
