Let's Dance werd in Nederland het derde bestverkochte album van 1983. Producer Nile Rodgers was van grote invloed op de totstandkoming van dit album waaraan Chic-collega Bernard Edwards en bluesgitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan hun medewerking verleenden.

In the pilot episode titled, "Entourage," there is a scene where Vince passes Mark Wahlberg and his "entourage. Since the series is loosely based on Wahlberg's early years in Hollywood this is significant because the people walking with Wahlberg in the scene are the real life E and Johnny (Alves) Drama. Oh, and Jeremy Piven's in it. Sound familiar? At first sight, Entourage seems to have a lot in common with The Player, Robert Altman's superb cinematic murder of the industry he worked in, one of the darkest movies about movies since the classic Sunset Blvd.
