Is XXX the best album by Asia? BestEverAlbums. com brings together thousands of 'greatest ever album' charts and calculates an overall ranking. This album At A Glance. XXX by Asia (2012) Release date: 2012-06-20 Overall rank: 27,394th.

Asia’s debut album was released in 1982, and now, 30 years on, we have ‘XXX’ which is Roman Numerals for 30, and that can’t just be coincidence. The album features the original members of the band, namely John Wetton, Carl Palmer, Steve Howe, and Geoff Downes, and on first listen, it is unmistakably Asia. The guys have still got the magic that catapulted this ‘supergroup’ to stardom 30 years ago. Incidentally, to back this album, the band will be undertaking a huge 30th Anniversary world tour, so they have BIG plans

Asia (2). XXX ‎(CD, Album, Unofficial). Unequivocally IMHO the very best Asia album ever. Reply Notify me Helpful.

Here is another solid release by Asia: their 12th studio album XXX (Special Edition). The disc starts out with the upbeat Tomorrow The World. Next to it is Bury Me In Willow, a catchy rock song perfect for the road; No Religion is the typical Asia track, upbeat rock at its best. I would say it could easily rival other Asia trademarks song such as Heat of The Moment, Only Time Will Tell, Midnight (from the underrated Silent Nation) and Light My Way (from Omega) Following it is Faithful, a quite similar track to Wildest Dream in terms of melody. I Know How I Feel and Face On The Bridge follow up with a great performance. Other tracks to listen to: Judas, Reno (Silver and Gold) and Ghost of A Change. This Special Edition features another versions of I Know How I Feel (Midnight Mix) and Faithful (Orchestral version). Again, Asia shows that their music is not short of brilliance or sounds dated. Highly recommended from beginning to end.

very polished album with impeccable playing yet again

This album is a disaster. How can four brilliant musicians make a bad record like this? All the tracks on the album sound completely alike with very little variation. If you are a fan of Yes and the early Emerson, Lake and Palmer, you should avoid this. The one star is for the musicianship. The album has no artistic value at all.
