Various Artists - British Invasion [Madacy] flac album

This recycles several songs that are usually found on Madacy records compilations, looking almost exactly like their British Rock set. As on that album, the song choices are very questionable. With so much good British music from that era, it seems a shame that these are the examples that Madacy chose. Still, the third disc is quite different from the first two, including excellent songs from Donovan, the Hollies, Mott the Hoople, Dave Essex, and Van Morrison

60s British Invasion. With 30 songs on three discs (it wouldn't have taken too much effort to make this a double disc, or even a single one), this would seem to be a nice set for nostalgia buffs looking to revisit the British Invasion times of the mid-'60s (remembering, of course, that the biggest British bands of the period. like the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, and the Who are seldom, if ever, represented in these kinds of collections), but it isn't really what it appears to be, since everything here is a re-recording and not the original version.
