Nona Gaye is a singer, model, and actress active in the 1990s and 2000s. The daughter of Marvin Gaye, she launched her singing career in 1992 with the solo album Love For The Future and its pop-dominant lead single I’m Overjoyed. Its follow-up was the serene ballad The Things That We All Do For Love. Following her solo debut, Gaye became professionally and romantically involved with Prince. The two collaborated multiple times, but their pairing was most successful on the single Love Sign

The album featured the top 20 hit "I'm Overjoyed" as well as "The Things That We All Do For Love". The following year, Gaye was named one of People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People. She signed to Ford Modeling Agency in 1994, and became the new face of Armani. For three years, Gaye both collaborated with and dated singer-songwriter Prince. Besides launching her musical career, Gaye also gave modeling a shot.
