Tarantula Mata is the name of the album and it rocks from start to finish with a mix of Spanish and Enlish lyrics, heavily distorted guitars and rocking rhythms. It’s halfway stuck between danceable and moshabl. hoice is up to you I guess. This Drama is doing nothing new, they just like to play rock ‘n roll the way The Bronx and Riverboat Gamblers like to go at it. Ain’t nothing wrong with that! Posts We Think You Might Like.

Tarantula is the fourth studio album by British rock band Ride, released in March 1996 shortly after the band split. The album was deleted from Creation Records' catalogue only one week after its release. This is also the only Ride album on which Andy Bell's vocal duties outweigh those of regular frontman Mark Gardener, due to internal conflict and the prior of their breakup. All tracks written by Andy Bell except where noted. All lead vocals performed by Andy Bell except where noted.

In 1978 Tarantula released their second album entitled Tarantula II, the line-up has completely changed with Vicente Guillot as the only remaining original member. The music is also a different story: a harder-edged sound with a more direct approach, bringing early Uriah Heep to my mind. Tarantula is a Spanish band of seventies, with 2 albuns when de first album is better that second. A Psichedelic Space Rock vein, with some beautifull guitar parts and organ, similar to other bands of this time, with same sound. Very melodic, with some fast parts in Fusion vein, very balanced and very well played. Tarantula would fracture after this release, and their second and final album would show very little of the kind of innovation and talent of this one. I don’t know why these guys have been forgotten and largely ignored in progressive music circles, but they shouldn’t be.
