I really like this release and I was on the bus years before "In the Dark". Granted, the vocals aren't as sweet as they once were, they're also not as bad as they were at some shows in the mid '80's and the playing was more consistant. Check out the vocals on some of those '83-'85 shows. Jerry was also fighting a really bad cold during this tour and his voice would actually gave out at Hartford. Avoid that Crazy Fingers at all costs! Heck, even the first night (3/30) here at The Meadowlands is pretty rough which is why I'm guessing they stuck to the second and third nights. The playing and the sound quality are generally really good. The April Fool's show actually shows up on a lot of favorites lists for 1988.
